How it works
Everything you need to complete the survey and get set up with Tanglio. It takes about 5–10 minutes total.
For students
- Open your link. Your program sent you a survey link (it looks like
survey.tanglio.app/p/…). Tap or click it on your phone or computer. - Read and agree to the consent. The first screen explains what the pilot is and how your information is used. Check “I agree to participate” and tap Continue. (If you’d rather not take part, just close the page.)
- Enter your details. First name, last name, your email, and confirm your program (it’s usually filled in already). We use your email only to send your Tanglio download instructions.
- Answer the survey. A few short sections about how you plan, organize, and manage your work. There are no right or wrong answers. Tap Next through the sections, then Submit.
- Check your email. Right after you submit, we email you a link to download Tanglio and sign in. Follow those 3 steps and you’re in — your coach connects with you inside the app.
You’ll get a Participant ID (like TAN-0123) automatically. You never type it anywhere — it just keeps your survey answers private and separate from your name.
For coaches
- Open your coach link. Your program shared one coach survey link — several coaches can use the same link.
- Agree to participate on the first screen and tap Continue.
- Enter your details. Your name, email, and program. Your email is used to give you Coach Portal access.
- Complete the coach survey. A few questions about how you currently work with students. Tap Submit when done.
- Check your email for your Coach Portal sign-in link. Your students appear as they join.
Good to know
- Sign-in is passwordless. Both the survey and the app/portal use the same email — we send a 6-digit code, no password to remember.
- Use the email you check. Your download link goes only to the address you enter, so use one you can open.
- One response per person. If you submit twice with the same email, we keep your first response — that’s expected.
- Your privacy is protected. Your name and email are never part of the research data used to evaluate the pilot.
